- GONG BATH with Marco Dolce
Sunday, October 10th 7pm
The Gong Bath is a one hour immersion in sacred and healing sound
wherein the gong master activates the full sonic potential of the gong
and bathes the listener
with sustained waves of primordial sound.
During a gong bath, listeners typically experience a sense of connectedness and peace as the sacred sound of the gong clears blockages and restores the free flow of vital energy throughout the body. Listeners have also described out of body experiences, seeing beautiful colors behind their eyes, along with symbols, images, and past life impressions. With its ability to induce a spontaneous meditative state, the gong offers listeners access to parts of the mind that are usually closed, resulting in a sense of expanded awareness and higher consciousness.

- Saturday, October 23 Restorative Yoga and Singing Bowls w/Morgan Mahoney 2-4pm
What is Restorative Yoga?
It is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating form of yoga that is practiced on the floor with the support of bolster, blankets and blocks.
Supporting the physical body allows the energy in the body to realign itself into a healthy state of being. "Being" not "doing" is the key word in Restorative yoga.
Anyone can practice Restorative yoga. It is a medical fact that stress deteriorates the body and brain. Restorative yoga enables the nervous system to relax, blood pressure and heart rate are reduced, insulin level is regulated and overall body functions are improved.
This is a 2 hour blissful class enhanced by the mystical tones of crystal singing bowls. The wave vibration of the of the bowls, deep breathing and meditation induces a deep level of relaxation.
If you're the type of person who has difficulty relaxing, has constant mind chatter or would love to deepen your yoga experience, this class is for you!
Morgan Mahoney has an extensive background in mind body studies as well as expressive arts. She is a 500 hour certified Soma Yoga instructor, New Jersey licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master. She has been a professional doll maker with her work being featured on television and national publications. She has assisted in doll making workshops with a focus on mind/body health versus illness. - Sundays, October 24 & November 14 7-8pm Yoga Nidra w/Denise Trimble
Yoga Nidra--profoundly restful, deeply healing, and potentially transformational. Yoga Nidra, also known as Yogic Sleep is a systematic method of experiencing a unique level of consciousness, where we are completely still and relaxed in the body, yet the mind remains aware rather than asleep, allowing the release of subconscious tensions and tendencies that inhibit us from living to our full potential. It is here that we can connect with our inner wisdom, our heart's desires, and a sense of calm and peace that that is stable rather than fleeting. Stress and tension dissolve, inner conflicts resolve. We awaken with a sense of deep peace and renewed energy. With repetition, the experience deepens, however even the first time is profoundly relaxing. Join Denise Trimble, OTR, CMT, RYT on this journey of rest and renewal. Each class will consist of 15 mins of gentle stretching and movement to prepare the body for relaxation, followed by 45 mins of guided reclined rest on the floor. Please bring a small pillow for your head (important for your comfort and relaxation) and dress in warm comfortable clothing (body temperature drops when we relax). Other props are available at the yoga studio, but if there is anything else you need to be absolutely comfortable on the floor, please bring it with you. No yoga experience necessary. $15 for one session, $25 for both
